Bay Area thrash metal viering op Dynamo Metal Fest

Dynamo Metal Fest kondigde nieuwe namen aan, maar het is veel meer dan dat, het wordt een viering van de Bay Area thrash metal.

Bay Area Interthrashional! Zo heet het project dat deze zomer op Dynamo Metal Fest zal spelen. Maar wat houdt dit nu precies in? Dynamo: "Eindhoven has a rich history when it comes to thrash metal bands calling our city their ‘home away from home’. More particularly bands from California, all originating around San Francisco’s Bay Area. Yes, Bay Area Thrash! We love it so much, we asked Craig Locicero to create a special show for us, celebrating the best metal music to come from this area. And not only will the show feature musicians from the Bay Area playing each others songs, you can also expect special guests from the worldwide metal community paying homage to this mighty genre. More details on this very special show will be disclosed over the next months. Is it July yet? We can’t wait!". Dus samengevat kan je heel wat covers verwachten van verschillend artiesten binnen het Bay Area thrash metal genre, een Forbidden, Heathen, Testament, mogelijks zelfs Metallica? Noem maar op. Ook werd Dress The Dead aangekondigd, Craig's nieuwe band. Dress the Dead features: Craig Locicero (Forbidden, Manmade God, SpiralArms, Demonica) & Michael Rowen (Insolence) als gitarist, Kayla Dixon (Witch Mountain) als zanger, Mark Hernandez (Forbidden, Vio-lence, Demonica) als drummer en James Walker (Manmade God, Spiralarms) als bassist. Het wordt het eerste optreden van de band in Europa.

Dynamo Metal Fest gaat in 2018 door op zaterdag 14 juli.
