Following the release of their critically acclaimed 7th full-length album "Seventh Rum of a Seventh Rum", the legendary pirate metal overlords Alestorm will set sail on a massive tour right across the center of Europe, with a stop at De Mast, Torhout on 28 January 2023. Joining them will be intergalactic power metal wizards Gloryhammer. But that's not all! The drunken dwarves of Wind Rose are coming along for the ride too, along with the enigmatic pirate metallers Rumahoy. Een uitverkochte Mast in Torhout was klaar voor een avondje spandex, glam/hair metal en blote borsten. De uit Los Angeles afkomstige bronstige glamourboys kwamen er hun Sunset Strip show aan het Belgisch publiek voorstellen.
Het Californische Steel Panther - afgelopen zomer nog te aanschouwen tijdens de metaldag van de Lokerse Feesten - doet andermaal ons land aan.
Vrijdag 3 maart 2017 liep zaal De Mast in Torhout vol voor een sterke package met het Belgische Aborted, het Zweedse Soilwork, het Braziliaanse Sepultura en het Teutoonse Kreator. Het was de voorlaatste datum van deze tour en zowel de bands als het publiek hadden zin om zich nog eens te smijten. Hierbij een impressie van elke groep.
MTV’s Headbangers Ball is terug! De Mast in Torhout werd uitgekozen om een sterk package te ontvangen. Iced Earth, Ensiferum, Kataklysm en Unearth zijn samen op tournee en brengen het beste van zichzelf. Een genre overstijgende avond vol metalen geweld.
Het Britse duofestival Reading/Leeds heeft 70 nieuwe bands bevestigd.
